Poody and Auntie Snotty are significantly faster than the babies in the snow. We're expecting a lot more snow tonight and I know both big girls are wondering whether or not there will be a maze.

-dwie łyżki kukurydzy
-pół papryki
-ziarna dyni
-garść pora
-przyprawy( koperek, pieprz etc )
-dwie łyżki jogurtu nat.
- mała pierś z kurczaka
-pół cebuli
-łyżka musztady
-łyżka świeżego kopru
-pieprz, zioła
Pierś mielimy razem z cebulą i przyprawiamy musztardą i ziołami. Odstawiamy do lodówki
-ziemniak
-2 łyżeczki oleju
-oregano, bazylia
1.Ziemniaka obieramy, kroimy w paski. 2.Obtaczamy w ziołach.
3. Wykładamy na blachę do pieczenia, polewamy olejem.
4. Pieczemy w nagrzanym piekarniku do 190 przez 20 minut.
5.Rozgrzewamy patelnię teflonową.
6. Do zmielonego mięsa dodajemy jedno białko i mieszamy.
7. Na patelni teflonowej układamy w miarę płaskie kotlety .
8. Smażymy przez ok. 4 minuty. Po przewróceniu na drugą stronę, kładziemy na każdy kotlecik plasterek pomidora i pół plasterka sera wędzonego.
9. Smażymy przez ok 3 minuty.

Lenten practices lead Catholics closer to Christ

Dorothy Day and two of her friends went to a New York restaurant some 50 years ago. It was Lent.
Day, a journalist well known for her social activism and for founding the Catholic Worker movement, was a devout Catholic convert.
One of the friends, a young woman, was consumed with the discipline of self-denial. So, at the end of their meal, Day ordered a piece of pie.
“The young woman was aghast,” said Patrick Jordan, managing editor of Commonweal magazine and the editor of “Dorothy Day: Writings from Commonweal,” who knew Day in her later years.
“Then Dorothy ate the pie in front of her, with apparent delight,” he said. “When I heard the story, I had a sense that this was Dorothy not as a glutton or debunker, but as a teacher.”
You see, Day fully embraced Christ’s example of prayer and fasting, Jordan said.
“She was saying to the woman: outward observance is not the point, and least of all, the pride such observance might lead to,” he said. “The point was love.”
The Church throws the true meaning of fasting into sharp relief for Catholics during Lent. Many of the faithful in the Phoenix Diocese are seeking to make this 40-day liturgical season a journey to Christ.

No moon at nighttime right now...
60 second exposure at ISO 400 is still not quite cutting it...

I need the moon and I need a 12-60mm f/2.8!!!
And an E-3 would be a nice addition too...
Even faster now that it's been rebuilt.
Took my scoot in to get it fixed and found a pleasant surprise at the garage.
