I couldn't pass on this one.
Only one flower on the entire plant and its the same colour as the rubbish on the ground :-)
I found this metal overhang on an old building and there was water dripping from the snow melting. I tried my best to get a water drop, but there wasn’t a lot dripping off so I went with the clearest one I got. The lighting is from the sun on a cloudy day, this part of the building was in the shade, so this is all soft light. I wanted the drip to me the main focus so I put that in the center of the shot, the lines from the windows and over hang lead your eyes around the photo as well, but the drop is what catches the eye first.
I was messing around with my shutter speed while taking these photos, I could have gone with a higher one to capture more drops, but I also like the simplicity of the one drop.
The one thing I would change about this would have been to use a faster shutter speed and get more water to flow down, but the water was the one thing I couldn’t control.
I do like how this looks, I like the colors and the textures on the tin and the brick building.
I'm not sure what it is, but to me, this MP36 seems like its going a lot quicker than it actually was looking at this photo. Chicago, IL
Taken during the Austin stop of the 2012 SDBA tour.
The drivers hang onto the line strung overhead to keep them aligned to the course. They quickly let go, close the canopy, and give it throttle to cross the starting line just in time with the lights.
These fast photos were hard to do. I had a lot of fun doing it but i wasn't able to use the photo i wasted to. The exposure looked fantastic on the camera but when put into edit it was all black. loved the outlook of the photo. and having a semi truck pass by i was able to get the top streak of light witch made the photo even batter.
