Daisy, having a nap back at our hotel in Gidleigh Park. She doesn't get to sleep on the bed with us at home - so having Daisy there with us (admittedly only during the day, while we were awake) was just an awesome, awesome day.
When I think of all the holidays I've been on, this was the best. This moment is why.

The Lockheed SR-71, also known as the Blackbird or Habu, holds the absolute flight speed record for an aircraft of 2,194 mph. The now-declassified figure lists the maximum speed as mach 3.2+; or from New York to LA in a little over an hour.
This rare bird was spied in the Smithsonian Udvar-Hazy annex at Dulles airport near Washington, DC. It was retired here in 2003 and is most impressive in form and magnitude.
