Laura Kathryn and Jeff's wedding ceremony was very unique.
It was inclusive of many traditions from many different religions.
One custom included was this...Hand Fasting...different colored "ribbons" each having a specific meaning were placed over the wrists of the couple by members of the wedding party with the minister explaining the blessing of each!!! I LOVED IT!!!

A greater roadrunner (Geococcyx californianus) procures itself a morning lizard snack while atop a granite boulder in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Roadrunners reach two feet from sturdy bill to white tail tip, with a bushy blue-black crest and mottled plumage that blends well with dusty shrubs. As they run, they hold their lean frames nearly parallel to the ground and rudder with their long tails. They have recently extended their range eastward into Missouri and Louisiana."
Fast becoming a favourite café of ours because it's on a cycle route, near Ouseburn, Newcastle. I liked the perspective that the zoom lens gives to this shot. This is the Millennium Bridge joining Newcastle and Gateshead, UK.
This was in a lavender field in Appomattox and the sun was beautiful! She wore a tulle skirt, which made the whole session that much more magical :)
