Spring comes fast in Tucson .
My plan was to document the new growth on the Prickly Pear, every day
I was going to take a picture of how fast it grows.
Wahahahahahahahah ...
Time flew away and a week later ( goodness ) the small green sprouts
that were big as you thumb nail, some, have already gotten as big as
the palm of your hand.
I rather like the Magenta, Purple, Lavender, Electric Lime and Blue-
green of this cactus.
The Foothills near my home have turned green and every plant is in
bloom, color is everywhere. I think nature knows that the hot Summer
is just around the corner so all the plants and animals don't waste a
second of the Fabulous Arizona Spring.

I was trying an idea out with the car blury but the dirver not blury. i worked ..... kindof lol. not what i had in mind but it still turned out pretty cool. I had the model drive the car toward me with a slow shutter and i used the flash 2 stop the model. the glass though caused more blur than intended.
Strobist info: 2 vivitars 285's set @ 1/16th power. beside car camera left and right shooting at car window. 1 vivitar 285 set at 1/2th power pointed at driver's face sitting in the passenger seat.
Other than the Fast Forward seatpost from Profile Design, forward offset seatposts are rare. I have drilled my Look Ergopost 2 seatpost clamps to allow it to be used to put my seat horizon when used reversed.
Drilling was insufficient. I even tried grinding the seatpost carbon down at the front but my saddle still pointed up at the nose. Then I realized I could raise the rear of the clamp by putting a nut in an unused rearward clamo hole. The Ergopost has three. By vthus expedient I may not have needed to drill or grind anything.

Snapped this new addition at the local McDonald's. Because they always have Fox News on their big screen, I was afraid it was some Palinesque "real America" exclusionary thing. The format seemed to echo "Ein Reich, ein Volk, ein Führer". But apparently it's from an 1862 Oliver Wendell Holmes poem. Now I just wonder about it aesthetically.
Fast and Heavy - I had the camera settings wrong! Aperture at f20 and shutter speed at 1/80s, finger and thumb went the wrong way when I was adjusting for the shot. However, decided not to delete as it conveys a sense of speed from the goose wings with the blurred background.
