Cuba's biggest fast food chain obviously owes a lot to the big US and European chains, but I didn't see any smiling teens behind the counter. The Cubans place a high value on education, so flipping hamburguesas is probably not going to be part of any teen's day.

Macro Mondays; theme: Fast Food.

Recently i returned from a 2 week trip!

My family and I went to New York and Boston. We first stopped in Palmyra, NY. It was a beautiful country place. Very peaceful.

Next we took a small plane ride to NYC. Let me tell you... I absolutely LOVE NYC. Everything about it, the different smells, people, stores and styles. My eyes wondered EVERYWHERE. I couldn't keep still. I want to live in NYC someday i think :]

We then took the train from NYC to Boston. It was my first time being on a train with a lot of other FIRST TIMES. We arrived in Boston and it was totally different from being in NYC. I was kind of bored when i got there because i was so used to soo many things going on. My dad qualified for the Boston Marathon so we were there to support him. He had an amazing time and just enjoyed it. There were thousands of people there just to watch the race!! Let alone the ones running in it.

I was ready to come home though by the end of the trip. But it was worth it. And i was very happy with the photographs i ended up with!

Os funcionários dos trailers de São João Del Rei, reuniram-se na Av. Leite Castro na noite do dia 31 de Março deste ano, noite que marcava os 50 anos da Revolução Redentora dos Militares.

Capitaneados pelos proprietários dos trailers, 125 pessoas manifestaram a favor da permanência dos equipamentos e instalações comerciais, dando ênfase à manutenção de centenas de empregos.

Na opinião dos moradores da Av. Leite de Castro, o comércio de fast-food é de suma importância para prevenir a marginalidade e proteger os praticantes de caminhadas na via pública.

O Ministério Público do Estado de Minas Gerais, obrigou o Ex- Prefeito Municipal Nivaldo José de Andrade à assinar um Tac - Termo de Ajustamento de Conduta, com prazo de 5 anos que expira hoje 31 de Março de 2014. É bom esclarecer que obrigou é modo de dizer; Nivaldo já com muitos processos na justiça, ficou com receio de não assinar o TAC em questão.

Nivaldo teve 4 anos para regulamentar a matéria, tempo suficiente para adequar os equipamentos arquitetônicos, resolvendo de vez esta questão. Com a inoperância do alcaide, não foi solucionado o problema.

Nivaldo, não dando importância ao compromisso assinado com o Ministério Público, não imaginou que centenas de funcionários ficariam desempregados. Fornecedores não mais forneceriam seus produtos para os comerciantes, moto-taxistas não teriam mais corridas para entregar os lanches, e principalmente, nas madrugadas, os visitantes e a comunidade sanjoanese ficaria sem opção para alimentação.

Hoje a atual administração terá a obrigação de resolver este problema, adequar arquitetonicamente os quiosques para atender à exigência do Ministério Público Estadual.

O Promotor Rodrigo de Ferreira Barros, dando um de salvador visual arquitetônico colonial de São João Del Rei, entrou com inúmeras ações contra o Poder Público e empresários. O Promotor deveria antes de convocar os proprietário dos trailers à assinarem o TAC, apresentar soluções adequadas para evitar este possível caos no mercado de trabalho na cidade, sendo que, na assinatura do referido documento, os empreendedores tiveram que regularizar sua situação fiscal e trabalhista de seus empreendimentos.

O documento assinado perante o Ministério Público inicia amanhã 1º de Abril: DIA DA MENTIRA.
