Beware of crazy bicycle riders in the Hutong of Gulou... The old habits of using bikes decades ago before the arrival of cars in China seems to be back again. Thanks to the new sharing bicycles systems that pop up recently all around China. People are rediscovering a lost pleasure, for the well being of the inhabitants and tourist also. This is China.

While kayakfishing in the wild .I spotted this on the rock .at first thought it was a dead bird...Tiny pup seal fast asleep just enjoying the first rays..At that time temperatures were just above 3C..Awesome..
These tiny little crested tits don't hang about for a second but luckily they do seem to land in the same place time and again, sometimes just long enough to capture them.
You got a fast car
Is it fast enough so we can fly away?
We gotta make a decision
Leave tonight or live and die this way

My first opportunity in a while to get the camera lineside and I only managed this by multi-tasking. Checking RTT before running an errand to Castleford, found my return home would coincide nicely with a Freightliner Scunthorpe Coal Plant to Hunslet Yard working.
With 10 minutes to spare I stopped by the side of the A639 at Methley Junction, a couple of Northern Pacer units passed and just as an experiment I tried a burst of panning shots, the results didn't look too bad on the back of the camera (not good enough to upload though). Anyway, I could play it safe or try a pan shot on the rapidly approaching Freightliner and here is the answer, I fired off about 10-15 shots and to my surprise a couple came out in reasonable focus.
For the record 66606 passes Methley Junction, running about 10 minutes late with 4E71 the 07:50 Scunthorpe Coal Handling Plant to Hunslet Yard.

The sun is up, the sky is blue
It's beautiful, and so are you.

When I first started collecting Blythe in 2012, I didn't get the appeal of Miss Sally Rice (on the left). To me, she looked a little strange and different from most Blythes, with her translucent face and bigger lips. Then suddenly, I loved her and had to have her! I don't know exactly why, but it may be that the very fact that she is different made her special to me. That, and her awesome blue-green hair.
Fast forward to 2016, and the moment I saw the announcement for UFO A Go Go, I knew I had to have her--there was no question about it! Her gorgeous aqua blue hair and pale face with salmon lips and blush make her so appealing to me.
They both have great stock outfits, as you can see here. Aren't they beautiful together?
Milwaukee Road E6s lead the Fast Mail past Hillsboro Tower. The train has a long string of head-end cars and a lone coach at the end.
These models belong to NAPM member John Matitz. The E6s are by Broadway Limited Imports; the head-end cars are a mix of Athearn and Broadway Limited; the coach is by Walthers.

47815 'Abertawe Landore' speeds past Berkley Marsh near Frome with the 11:40 Penzance-Paddington FGW 'Motorail' service on 26 August, 2000. The car-carrying vehicles, adapted from Mk 1 stock, are at the rear. Faster than driving? Probably, and certainly more pleasant! Unfortunately the venture ended in 2005 and the concept became extinct in the UK.
