An Egyptian goose with no less than ten well-grown goslings in Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens. With breeding success like this it's no wonder they are taking over the world. It would seem that anywhere in its native South Africa where there's water from veld water holes to garden lakes there are Egyptian geese. I think it won't be long before this can be said for the whole of the UK.

Ensignbus owned RML2734 (SMK734F) is seen at Lakeside Bus Station having just finished on the South East Garage Bash tour with Visions International. This vehicle achieved speeds of 57mph on the A13 dual carriageway, which is absolutely brilliant for a heritage vehicle, and despite it being a "Dartmaster", it was absolutely hellfire.

The garden birds are eating at a tremendous rate at the moment, especially the Starlings who are raising their young.
This young Starling was perched right at the top of the pinnacle on the feeders and sat there for a good five minutes as the adult birds made raids on the coconut feeders gathering clumps of the fatty stuff and as you can see the young make very short work of it.
Not just a load of 300M's here. These are "Export" 300's, note the side markers on the front fenders, not seen on US cars. Fast load Bankhead rig.

The tiny hopper capacity and fast cycle time means lots of cycles, and a truck thats lots of fun to watch. I hope to have some video up soon.
...it's wonderful to see these killers being put through their paces at the International Centre for Birds of Prey. This one is panting, trying to get air into its lungs as it cuts through the air. Photo taken with a Nikon D810 and 300mm f/2.8 VR lens with a x 1.4 TC.
