The next place that opens here should dig a moat to keep those pesky customers out!
White Castle shut down their five remaining locations in Northern Ohio at 6PM on December 24th, 2014. The White Castle that was in Toledo closed in 2011, leaving just a handful open around Cleveland and Akron. For some reason, White Castle never built up much of a market presence in the northern part of the state despite being based in Columbus. The Cleveland Area White Castle locations were co-branded with Church's Chicken until just months before they closed.
This location was White Castle #371 - 3255 West 117th Street, Cleveland
The other closed locations are; White Castle #370 - 5151 Pearl Road, Cleveland; White Castle #372 - 5095 Northfield Road, Bedford Heights; White Castle #376 - 13201 Superior Avenue, East Cleveland; and White Castle #377 - 2900 South Arlington Road, Akron.

Went to the newly opened used camera shop in Lake City and saw this Yashica Lynx 14E rangefinder with a 45mm f:1.4 lens and, of course, brought it home. I see a lot of rangefinders with slower lenses, but this 1.4 really caught my eye, and the fact that the camera is fully manual is a bonus to me.

Metasequoia glyptostroboides, one of the very special plant species at Strypemonde.
---
Metasequoia glyptostroboides - the dawn redwood, a fast-growing, endangered deciduous conifer, the sole living species of the genus Metasequoia, one of three species in the subfamily Sequoioideae. It is a particularly well-known example of a living fossil species. The tree faces considerable risks of extinction in its wild range due to deforestation, however it has been planted extensively in arboreta worldwide. If the species had not been discovered in 1941 but a bit later, it might have become extinct before being investigated.

Rockanje: Strypemonde Nature
A nice walk on this 100-hectare Strypemonde estate leads you through a beautiful varied forest and past a flowery forest meadow and many special trees, such as the Metasequoia Glyptostroboides and exotic oaks. The former owners of the then 2000 hectare estate were shipowners, they brought many cuttings and seeds from abroad and they still grow here. The area is also rich in tawny owls, long-eared owls and woodpeckers and you will find many mushrooms in the autumn.
The name Strypemonde comes from a wide creek, the Strype, which flowed into the sea here in the Middle Ages and which was later dammed. The hunting lodges Olaertsduin and Strypemonde (anno 1930) are national monuments and the Schaapskooy is a municipal monument.

Had a photoshoot this weekend at this store Norrlands MC..it was so much fun to have all these crazy powerful machines and cool clothes to play with. I think all models enjoyed this very much too =)
Though i had very small space to move my equipment around and the light settings was a bit difficult but perfect for me to practice all kinds of situations so im happy over all with the result. I will post many many more images very soon...
Sheep can move at quite a lick when they put their minds to it.

American Mink and it's lunch, looks like a Musk rat or another Mink.
Vison d'amérique et son lunch. On dirait un rat musqué ou un autre vison.
A combo of two of the competitors in the icelandic Icefitness competition.
If the fitness competitors are not the top athletes, i don´t know who is, .... maybe the motocross guys... anyway both are fit and fast ... ;-)
This Eat'n Park restaurant was opened in 2006. A former Ground Round restaurant (opened 1994, closed 2004) was razed to build this Eat'n Park. This restaurant was the western-most Eat'n Park restaurant during its duration of being open. Sadly, this restauarant closed on July 18th, 2011, due to poor business.

Strawberries, (of course) mango, cherry (!) tomatoes, corn, spinach, Feta and some other green stuff.
You are building with your new lego creators. You build these things so darn fast it blows my mind.So good at it. We had such a great xmas this year. Everyone was super happy, super well behaved. And the best part about it. You kids said mom. This was the best xmas ever. Not only because we got a lot of gifts again and stuff we wanted. But because dad is home with us and not at work!! It melted my heart. I kind of didn't want it to end this year! It was that good...
