I'm amazed at how fast he is growing. Can hardly keep him back far enough to take a picture now. He's quick :-)

My first opportunity in a while to get the camera lineside and I only managed this by multi-tasking. Checking RTT before running an errand to Castleford, found my return home would coincide nicely with a Freightliner Scunthorpe Coal Plant to Hunslet Yard working.
With 10 minutes to spare I stopped by the side of the A639 at Methley Junction, a couple of Northern Pacer units passed and just as an experiment I tried a burst of panning shots, the results didn't look too bad on the back of the camera (not good enough to upload though). Anyway, I could play it safe or try a pan shot on the rapidly approaching Freightliner and here is the answer, I fired off about 10-15 shots and to my surprise a couple came out in reasonable focus.
For the record 66606 passes Methley Junction, running about 10 minutes late with 4E71 the 07:50 Scunthorpe Coal Handling Plant to Hunslet Yard.

I met and got to know Jamie Grae at this year's SCC and I have to tell you, she's a great gal, an all around gentle soul and lots of fun to hang with!
We'd spent the afternoon shopping at Perimeter Mall then had a nice dinner at Magiano's. After dinner we returned to the hotel, changed clothes and met again in the hotel bar for a few drinks. By now we were fast friends! Thanks to Lesley the event staffer for taking this great pic of us!
My ensemble for the evening consists of a pink & blue lycra spandex "shattered glass" hologram print tank style minidress from coquetryclothing.com, my super shiny Platino Cleancut 15 denier pantyhose, and my sliver pumps with the 5" heels.

My last pick from my early morning venture this last week. This is a 404 second exposure taken at 4:06 AM. Guess I should have let it go for 2 more seconds, LOL.
The tag on the left ("Nopee Mazda") is popping up all over the city from North to South and East to West. It means "Fast Mazda" and whoever paints them (I don't know if the tagger is an individual or a crew) sure gets around.

I didn't realize how much orange there is in fast food packaging until I took this photo. Orange is supposed to stimulate hunger, so this makes sense.
