The Royal Engineers were present at the Bodmin & Wenford Railway on Monday working on some of the sidings near the car park as part of a training exercise. The combination of camouflage and hi-viz jackets is one that appeals to my sens of humour, especially when combined with guns. The chap on the left was quite friendly and we chatted for a while, turns out he is a main line signal man in Preston.

Base Mount Isolator | Anti Vibration Mounting Pad

ENB introduces itself as a manufacturers , suppliers and exporters of Base Mount Isolator or Base Plate Fastened Anti vibration Pads.

These base plate fastened anti vibration mounts can be used effectively for as long as the machinery itself without much maintenance hassle. They are very durable and have long lasting functional life. ENB anti-vibration pads are engineered solutions for vibration isolation using natural rubber. These are manufactured from qualitative range of raw materials, which is quality controlled by our team of experienced engineers. We offer these Mounting pad at most competitive prices.

Enb Anti Vibration Rubber Pads are available in the variety of shape to meet the needs of a broader spectrum of machinery. From small to large machines, our range of anti vibration mountings provides quick installation along with the leveling, aligning and vibration isolation.

Vibration in motorized equipment is merely the back and forth movement or oscillation of machines and components, such as drive motors, driven devices (pumps, compressors and so on) and the bearings, shafts, gears, belts and other elements that make up mechanical systems. The unexpected breakdown of rotating machinery due to vibrations is the single largest cause of emergency downtime in industries. E&B Rubber Metal Products Pvt. Ltd. with manufacturing facility in Haryana has the most advanced machines so that all the production processes of Talleres Egana could be employed here in India. Quality is not compromised during any stage of production. The Anti Vibration Pads produced in the Indian unit are also being exported to Europe under Egana's brand name. The Anti Vibration Mounts are suitable for all kind of machinery. The major end users are genset manufacturers, diesel engine manufacturers, compressors, wind turbines, mountings for control panels , overhead cranes, etc.

Young successful engineer in a helmet

On a cold, sunny March afternoon, I chanced upon an Army Leyland DAF truck on the Lee on Solent slipway (below the Hovercraft Museum). A short wait revealed that it was waiting to recover a Combat Support Boat which had been exercising on the Solent. There was some difficulty with the grab on the launching and recovery trailer and it took several attempts to get the boat on to it. It was fascinating to watch the team of Royal Engineers at work and have an opportunity to see the equipment.

In this failed attempt to recover the Combat Support Boat, the grab (centre) would not pivot forward as intended so that the two arms, seen here raised, could be attached.

Neoclassical architectural monument. It was constructed in 1797-1801 (architects V.I. Bazhenov, V. F. Brenna) at the behest of Emperor Pavel I on the location of the demolished wooden Summer Palace of Empress Elizaveta Petrovna. It was named in honour of archangel Michael. The square building with an octagonal inner yard was enclosed with canals (filled over in 1823).

On 1 February 1801, Mikhailovsky Castle became a residence of the Imperial family and remained as such until conspirators assassinated Emperor Pavel I on the night of 12 March 1801.

The Northern facade, facing the Summer Garden, is emphasised with a high attic, an open terrace on paired Doric marble columns and wide granite staircases with bronze statues of Hercules and Flora (copies of antique sculptures).
