A clough is a channel through draining marshland.
Built in 1870. This is the rear range light of the front range light shown in the previous photograph. The round, cast iron, skeletal tower with lantern and work room is 30 feet tall and painted red.
Badly in need of fresh paint and maintenance. The light signal is a white light occulting every 2 seconds. The keeper's house was demolished years ago.
Located on the Humber River about 125 yards up from the front range light.

artworks by artists from all over the world.
You are all invited to the third edition of this event,
giving you the chance to see the real urban art coming
from different places and cultures!
The artworks all contain different meaning
but share the common ground of placing art in the public realm without looking for monetary gain.
You will enjoy the expressions of the contemporary art in unexpected forms,
with live performances found only at cutting edge venues for contemporary art.
The artist showing their works and those in attendance are friends of not only our project in Italy but offer a selection of the best emerging talent in the street art world today.
The raw essence of the streets and the artist generosity and friendliness in sharing their works with the public in their countries, as well as now in Italy enthusiastically participate with the only purpose to share their feelings, their sensations, their nonsense, their logic, and their techniques.
We are proud to say that their artworks are meant to share the art itself and their heart as well.
Even the artists whose works have come from all over the world, sometimes to distant for themselves to attend, will be with us through the spirit of their masterpieces.
A truly valid award for the artists will be your presence to this free event and extraordinary exhibition to held the 26th of February, 2011 19:00h at "L@P Asilo 31" - Firenze Street, 1 - Benevento (campania) - Italy.

Anche se l'inverno ci sta seguendo con un profondo respiro freddo il
"Post it Up" sarà abbastanza caldo grazie alle nuove opere inviate da artisti di tutto il mondo!
Siete tutti invitati alla terza edizione di questo evento pressoché unico nel genere,
che vi darà l'opportunità di vedere la vera arte urbana proveniente da diversi luoghi e culture!
Tutti i lavori sono rappresentativi dei più disparati significati ma di sicuro privi dell'egoismo spesso imposto da un possibile lucro.
Potrete godere delle espressioni più disparate dell'arte contemporanea in forme inaspettate,
con performance dal vivo che vengono riproposte solo in pochi altri eventi.
Gli artisti che interverranno in "carne e ossa" sono cordiali ed allo stesso tempo fuori dagli schemi,
a differenza di un certo tipo di persone del settore che presumono di essere "i migliori" solo perché noti alle masse.
La vera essenza delle strade è l'affabilità di quegli artisti contemporanei che hanno partecipato con entusiasmo,
con il solo scopo di condividere i loro sentimenti, le loro sensazioni, il loro nonsense, la loro logica, le proprie tecniche.
Con certezza è possibile affermare che condividono la loro arte ed il loro cuore.

Johann Georg Friedrich Köhler (* 03. Juni 1788 in Stuttgart, + 1855) war deutscher evangelischer Theologe, Pfarrer und Kirchenlieddichter.
Köhlers Vater war Lehrer am Gymnasium seiner Heimatstadt. Köhler selbst studierte in Tübingen, worauf er ebenfalls eine Stelle als Lehrer annahm. In Vaihingen wurde er zum Diakon und hierauf zum Pfarrer von Lauffen am Neckar berufen. Bis zu seiner Frühpensionierung, um die er wegen seines schlechten Gesundheitszustandes nachsuchen musste, war er Pfarrer von Degerloch bei Stuttgart. Albert Knapps Evangelischer Liederschatz aus dem Jahr 1850 enthält 52 Lieder von Köhler.

Busy harbor at Blyth. The large wooden ship in the center is the
lightship Tyne III, built in 1879 and retired in 1950, She was the last wooden lightship built for Trinity House and served in many locations, the last off of Southhampton. She now serves as the club ship for the Royal Northampton Yacht Club..
In the background the large red hulled ship with a helicopter landing area services the oil drilling platforms in the North Sea.
ENG (electronoise group)
Radical free/spontaneous music/art ensemble, The Electronoise Group (ENG) founded in early 2006 by Japanese-American soundArtist, shotahirama. It is a group that are making concrete drone sounds with their free-improv expression and the ideas from "laptop" "noise" and "Art".
Using laptop, tape-operation, and tape-loop, generated guitar, the project ideal is to express the content of various psycho pathological conditions, especially depressive psychosis, and paranoia. And also making an art design, a photomontage with strong attention to Dada and Bauhaus.
shotahirama is a Japanese-American concrete sound artist and also known as a photomontage artist, inspired by Dada and Bauhaus. Most people also know him under the name ENG (electronoise group) or JANDEATH. He uses laptop and sinewave generator, some tape-operation and tape-loops, or some kind of machine, making concrete-noise-drone or a power electronics.
He has been documented on a number of projects, each revealing new facets of his wide-ranging and unique talents on both laptop and tape-operation. ダダイズムの既成の秩序や常識に対する、否定、攻撃、破壊といった思想や バウハウスに見られる合理主義的・機能主義的な芸術に強く興味を持ち、 電子機材を用いたノイズコンクレート、持続音響な作品制作、またその演出、表現への応用可能性、方法を探る電子音響グループ、ENG (electronoise group)を２００６年に結成した音響家、shotahirama（平間翔太。1984年アメリカ、ニューヨーク生まれ）。ス ペイン、バルセロナからのアルバムリリースを始めこれまでに２つのオリジナルアルバム（"Barcelona"、"Kollaps"）、４曲の楽曲提供と、そのリリース活動は頻繁である。また坂本龍一 のラジオ番組 J−WAVE「RADIO SAKAMOTO」にてルーマニア人の女性SSW、Monookaとのコラボ曲、"Fruhling"がO.A.された事により実現されたイギリス、ロンドンを中心に行われた"Dada Lives Tour"など、ヨーロッパでのリリースからライブ、サウンドインスタレーションまで精力的な活動を続ける。
２００８年にはshotahirama単独のソロ活動となるJANDEATHを始動。ポーランドのハーシュノイズアーティスト、zbigniew karkowski (mego)や、MERZBOWと共に日本のジャパノイズシーンを牽引するToshiji Mikawa (incapacitants)、ASTRO (Hiroshi Hasegawa)、Adachi Tomomi (Tzadik)、Pain Jerkなどの数々のノイジシャンとのライブを行う。産業主義を連想させる金属音や破壊音的電子音響に、２台のElektronを扱い現代音楽のシンボルであるリズムをクリックならぬポイントに置き換え、複雑なシーケンスに溶け込ませたPointilism Musicを提案する。また自身が開発したプログラムソフト、R systemにてそのリズムストラクチャーが持つミニマリズムをそのまま具象化、映像化するライブもJANDEATHではおなじみの光景である。同じ年、兼ねてから共演を熱望していた東京の最新デジタルクリエーションコレクティブ、SOUPのメインアクト、MICLO DIETとのデュエットとなるMICLODEATHも実現。

Taishin Inoue
Is a Japanese sound artist, and he was born in Tokyo on September 21, 1981. He lived in the suburbs in Osaka from 3 years old to 19 years old. Now, he is making an electronic music, movie, drawing, magazine, living in the music studio in koenji Tokyo. And he also organize an electronic music event, "ORASP". It is a coined word which connects the initial of “Organic-Reaction Around Spiral-Process”. Orasp includes the image which organic energy circulates through the inner side and outside of the image space produced from the sequence distribution which whirls spirally. ORASP mainly focus on electronica, IDM, ambient, noise, drone, breakcore, minimal techno, abstract hiphop, sonic dub, contemporary music, an acoustic sound, improvised music, experimental jazz, original musical instrument, band, and DJ perform.

Kelly Churko was born in Moose Jaw, Canada in 1977 and has been based in Japan since 2001. Daisuke Kitabayashi is a founder of the japanese improvising emsemble Faltering Performance Band (FPB), established in 2008. Already in the late 1990´s Daisuke started experimenting with preparations on the guitar, influenced by the ideas of Keith Rowe. In the beginning of the 2007´s he has been a member of shotahirama's ENG/electronoise group. Since then Daisuke is exclusively playing the "table top guitar" - as a soloist, in FPB and in various other groups.

[ENG] The Chestnut forest of El Tiemblo (Ávila, Spain) it is a small forest of municipal property placed to approximately 1.100 m. of altitude in the header of the Reservation of Iruelas's Valley, to approximately 100 km from Madrid. It is the most extensive chestnut forest of the Central System, and on the autumnal station -the most showy and colouring- its paths are crossed by numerous visitors. Along the route we will be able to observe different species of trees and shrubs that they accompany on the chestnut-tree or form a part of the undergrowth of the chestnut forest (white hawthorn, hazel, elm of mountain, cherry, willows, holly, alder-tree, birch, heathers, ferns...). A section of the path passes parallel to the creek of the throat of the Yedra (Ivy), with it waters down all the year round and with a row of alder-trees that forming a small forest of gallery they wind close to the creek. With luck we can contemplate some species of birds of forest character (mocking-bird, blue climber, blackbird, thrush...).
[ESP] El Castañar de El Tiemblo (Ávila) es un pequeño bosque de propiedad municipal situado a unos 1.100 m. de altitud en las laderas de la Reserva del Valle de Iruelas, en la cabecera de la garganta de la Yedra, a unos 100 km. de Madrid. Es el castañar más extenso del Sistema Central, y en la estación otoñal –la más llamativa y colorida- sus senderos son recorridos por numerosos visitantes. A lo largo de la ruta podremos observar diferentes especies de árboles y arbustos que acompañan al castaño o forman parte del sotobosque del castañar (majuelo, avellano, olmo de montaña, cerezo silvestre, sauces, acebo, arraclán, abedul, brezos, helechos, ...). Un tramo del sendero discurre paralelo al arroyo de la garganta de la Yedra, con agua todo el año y con una hilera de alisos que formando un pequeño bosque de galería serpentean junto al arroyo. Con suerte podemos contemplar algunas especies de aves de carácter forestal (arrendajo, trepador azul, mirlo, zorzal...).
