Dedication of a memorial boulder at Police Memorial Park for Corrections Officer Kyle Eng who died in the line of duty at the City Jail on July 19, 2018.
Today’s dedication was attended by friends and family of Officer Eng, Ward 4 Councilman Stavros S. Anthony, and city of Las Vegas Department of Public Safety Chief Michele Freeman. It was in advance of Thursday night’s Southern Nevada Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony. That ceremony is Thursday, May 23, 6:30 p.m. at Police Memorial Park, 3250 Metro Academy Way. The public is invited to this annual memorial to pay tribute to law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
