This is an eight cylinder double acting opposed piston diesel engine, built by Burmeister and Wain in 1933 for the H C Orsted Power Station in Copenhagen. For 30 years it was the most powerful in the world. It is still in running order and started on the first Sunday of each month for visitors to the DieselHouse Museum
