Materials:Adobe photo-shop, camera raw

Process: I took all three photos and edited them in camera raw, changing the brightness and roughness of the overall photo. Then dragging them all into photo-shop to layer them while changing the opacity and fill. After all three photos were adjusted to the appropriate place I added a frame to give the photo a complete look.

Idea: To control multiple exposures and get a sense of time and movement.

The final shot before heading home. Wasn't sure whether to go colour (Not that there is much), or mono with this one. I'll probably post the mono version at some point.

CN's EJE heritage unit leads empty limestone jennies out of Proctor and down the hill into Duluth for a refill. Thank you to the person that cut a hole in the fence here, whoever you are.

This real DNA staircase at the Hanze University in Groningen can be used on two sides. As it only connects two floors originally, I had a lot of edit fun expanding this.

As our cities, becoming controlled by mobs and thugs. Brazenly, storming stores anytime of day. Breaking, stealing, without fear. Our communities, being controlled by mobs, stalkers, racist; driving out those, they deem not worthy. Law Enforcement, standing idle; blaming the judicial system, making excuses.

Our schools, public venues; being stormed by those waiving weapons, designed for war. The truth being stricken from them. Becoming a stigma, a mental illness, for those that dare speak it.

Our Legislator, turning their backs on their districts, as they implode. Pretending they care, keeping us occupied with lies and division. Treating us like ignorant adolescents. Filling their pockets and banks, by the corporations, they represent. Our Administration, savvy from years of the same. Government Agencies, taking liberties; with no accountability. Our Nation; descends further into chaos and anarchy.

I love spiral staircases like this, and I wish they were more common in the US. This particular staircase is at a museum in Venice.

Its Sunset Sunday!

I have no idea if I actually will post a sunset every sunday, but for now, it gives me an excuse to indulge in my favorite kitsch.

This was taken at the Mt Madonna Inn parking lot at the top of Hecker Pass on Highway 152. Its part of my daily commute, and now that the days are lengthening, this is what I sometimes see on the way home.

Ha Long Bay (literally "descending dragon") is a renowned UNESCO world heritage site located about 2 hours east of Hanoi. The area is tightly packed with thousands of limestone karsts, uninhabited islands, misty islets, and hidden coves filled with cerulean pools. It is an amazing area when viewed from a boat, but from the air it's absolutely stunning. This was shot from a drone at an altitude of about 500 meters. The square pens just off the islet on the lower right hand corner are used in aquaculture. You can see a floating village with a permanet settlement in the upper left hand corner. I was standing on a dock flying my drone from that village.

Just south of Dalwhinnie 70812 can be seen making a cautious descent towards the station with 6H51 Oxwellmains to Inverness loaded cement. The line here drops at 1 in 80 from the summit at Druimuachdar which is 1,484 feet above sea level.

Portland, Oregon with Mt Saint Helens and the peak of Mt Rainier Washington in the distant upper right. Sunset was at 5:07PM, photos are from 5:19, 5:26 and 5:38PM. OM2990,2997,3009
