DB operated class 185s, numbers 185 177 and 185 073 head south towards Mannheim with box wagons covered by metal corrugated sheets to keep the contents from blowing away presumably.

The train is carrying clay from Limburg - Domodossola and can load to 4,000 tonnes. The train could well be GM 48601 Limburg - Domodossola II Final destination is normally Reggio Emilia / Dinazzano but there are other destinations I'm told.

Anita Buy is born in 1914 in Domodossola from my great-grandparents Marta and Addo Buy, she was the sister of my grandmother Ina.

She moved to Rome and in 1932 became the companion of the sculptor Pericle Fazzini, they married then in 1940.

She was a painter and after a writer, made a portrait of the poet Giuseppe Ungaretti (tempera on wood) at the same time of the portrait made by Pericle in 1936, she also made a portrait of Baroness Anita Blanc.
