I can't take credit for this excellent photo - it is the work of my wife - check out her post on the blog below!

These cookies are great for using up sub-optimal eating bananas. The consistency is a bit chewier than a muffin, not as crumbly as cakey cookies and they stay pretty moist overall. They are what I like to refer to as excellent ‘breakfast cookies’ for the following reasons:
1) the texture is perfect with coffee
2) they are not too sweet
3) the banana and oats give the impression of healthy eating
If you really like ginger, try doubling it because the flavor baked away to a pretty weak undertone in the end.
P.S. - I am especially proud of this post because this photo is actually mine (not my ghost photographer’s work) and, at the risk of appearing overly self-congratulatory, I think it looks pretty good if I do say so myself…
shortbread cookies are my favourite and Christmas without them wouldn't be the same. My Mum's recipe was the best. She started this tradition for me and my family. These aren't homemade but they are pretty good.

Ups... Half of them is already gone!
Thak you so much Vanessa! I loved them! And thanks for tea on saturday, it was really pleasent. ^^
This little one comes everyday. She has babies under my shed, I think. Tonight, she got scraps from filet mignon, strawberries, cat food, and her favorite-chocolate chip cookies.
Gotta keep this momma well fed. She will come when I call for her.
This ornament was given to me by a former co-worker. My nickname at work for a while was "Cookie Monster" due to my love for chocolate chip cookies from a local cafe. I hang it on our tree every year!

All 86 boxes of cookies are now wrapped. I just now have to put my cards together and then deliver them. Lots of work but it's been fun. I'm hoping to start delivering them this Sunday. :D
I hope to be back on Flickr to visit and comment on my friend's photos. Been so busy and still helping my mom every night.
Some more cookies for me to shoot...nothing better than shooting on a lazy Saturday afternoon after a week of work.
HFF for Happy Freaky Friday. This is what happens when Jim Henson collaborates with Tim Burton. Cookie Monster is no longer a cute and cuddly plush muppet. Hold on to your biscuits! Carlsbad Caverns National Park, New Mexico, USA, May 2016

Chocolate cookies with chunks of white and dark chocolate, then coated on one side with milk chocolate.
Very chocolatey!
(I was trying to focus on the front edges of the cookies, to show the different 'constituent parts' - I like the way this has made the top of the pile unfocused at the back)
Day 35
This is my take on a cookie splash picture. It took me several tries but I finally got something decent! The whole thing about a shot like this is to freeze the action with a fast shutter speed, but you have to clean the mess afterwads!!

jacqueline making cookies in the iron age; hardest work is the grinding of the grain using the two grey stones, then add some water and some honey, and make a flat cookie out of it
Chocolate chips were replaced by Christmas chips in this classic cookie so they needed a new name. 😉
Happy Bokeh Wednesday peeps :-)
Our flight home was 5 hours delayed and so we played around with everything we could find at the ariport...
Poah, unser Flug hatte 5 Stunden Verspätung und wir waren in der kleinen Abflugshalle eingequetscht. Also haben wir uns anderweitig beschäftigt ;-)
The cookies (poly clay) and tray (silver painted cardboard) are done so Gracie is ready for work tomorrow. Nope, I didn't do the mitts since I wanted her to be able to hold the tray...so this is after the cookies have cooled. ^_^
That's when you KNOW you're famous....people make cupcakes that look like you.
Spotted at the Pennington Market.
Freshly baked dark chocolate, pistachio and sea salt cookies - I think it's very wrong that most of the things I like to eat are so bad for me! 😊

Today in the afternoon I wanted to do a simple cookie splash, but after some attempts, I decided to get the cookies involved in the story of the shot!! This final picture is the combination of two shots. Hope you like it!!
Obviously, inspired by Siebe's Cookie Splash
I will say it again: I love my new lens.. 100% recommended (it's like magic)
Thank you for your support and comments!
Linda was the champion of cookie bakers. I am fortunate that when Linda's health got to the point were she could no longer make cookies she told me her secrets and directed me through the process so I now can continue the cookie baking. But unfortunately my cookies will never be as good as Linda's.
