This weathered metal tray was thrown away on the street as trash and catching some sunlight. I thought it was a baking sheet for cookies. But according to the experts, that's not the case. So it's just my imagination. :-)
I just found I was mostly right. It's a vintage baking tray for éclairs. :-D

The tulip leaves are just poking out of the ground a few inches in Pella, so my wife and I stopped at a few of the shops on the town square to "help make Pella green". Of course, we had to visit the Jaarsma Bakery to grab a snack and a few other goodies.

Both my boys are working from home today, it's pouring with rain, there are crashes of thunder and big strikes of lightning so I got baking. I baked them both some Almond and Lemon Cookies and of course I used my 'heart' shape cookie cutter and a 'mini person' cookie cutter. I prefer my cookies with hot tea... but my two big grown men wanted a glass of milk each.... bless them hahahahahaha
Here's hoping we stay safe, its quite treacherous out there.

This is a total fraud of a shot. Store bought cookies heated on the cookie sheet with parchment just to melt the chocolate chips and stacked to show off their goodness. I'll be off to eat these though with a glass of milk, mmmm. Practice, practice, practice. I'll eventually get my food down.
I hope you are getting a clear idea of my clear glass cookie/storage Jar that don't forget cost exactly one pound sterling and not 99 pence....:-)))
It is cheap thick glass with many imperfections (what can you expect for a pound) but becoming a thing of great beauty to me.. plus it comes with a grey plastic lid you know.........
