I was very careful that, even though Danny should leave some cookies and milk for Santa, he didn't leave too many of my favorites.

When Cookie arrived, he had very few feathers due to the psychological condition of feather plucking. The only in-tact feathers he had when I got him were the ones above his neck. The rest of the body had only downey feathers.
I've had Cookie for a month, since March 31, 2007. He is already quite bonded to me, and is no longer plucking his feathers. In this picture, the tail feathers are starting to grow back. He is preening to redistribute the oil in the glands at the base of his tail.
