I noticed a little theme in some of the scraps I pulled for Carissa's blocks...and so, a wee collection of cook books. Ha ha ha (don't kill me!)

So, I'm watching the Leafs game on Sportsnet and the play-by-play commentators are talking about Dennis Shapavalov sitting next to Sportsnet panelist Nick Kypreos. They didn't mention the other guy next to Kypreos -- Apple CEO, Tim Cook. A couple of minutes later they cut back to Kypreos and realize that's Cook beside him.

The Iredell County Public Library has in its collection a rare 12 page booklet titled “The Family Record for Adam Cook and Delpha Cook. The booklet is dated Dec. 5, 1827. The booklet records the births and deaths of the Adam Cook family such as you would see in the front of a family bible.
The 1850 Federal Census lists Adam Cook and his family in Watauga County, North Carolina. The census shows the following:

Adam Cook is listed as a farmer. The booklet list Adam Cook’s birth as June 10, 1802 and Delpha’s as April 22, 1809. They were married on January 4, 1827.
Printed on the front: "1868. Eutomology Building. M.A.C. Lansing, Mich. Pesha Photo." Printed on the back: "Eutomology Building - (formerly Agricultural Bldg)." Note: "Eutomology" is a spelling error. It should be "Entomology." Also, 1868 is not the year the photo was taken (Cook Hall was built in 1889). It appears to be an identifier used by the photographer.
