When in NZ recently visited Mount Tasman, Mount Cook and Lake Wakitipu. Found some stamps in an album I kept as a young boy. Did not dream then I would one day go to that beautiful country for a holiday.
Here are some pics i was lucky to get with my nikon p900 when i was in the cook islands last year hope you enjoy!!!
left: with maitake mushrooms, soy sauce and seaweed broth
right: ground lotus root and stiff parts of bamboo shoot, mix starch, and bunching up together. fry them to a crisp.

I designed a cook book which its subject is my grandmother.each page represent a different moment in her life.

Cooks Beach. I'm not sure if it's meant to be Cook's Beach. I always just write it as 'Cooks Beach'. It doesn't belong to a bunch of wanna-be chefs. Fuck the system!

Being from the west coast of Canada, we were keen on visiting the Cook museum in Whitby, where we also saw this statue. We were surprised that the museum staff seemed to know nothing about Cook's third voyage, which took him up the Pacific coast of North America, particularly Vancouver Island. We learned this when we asked about the lack of exhibits on the subject. As far as they seemed to know, he only just sailed to Hawaii and died.
