i use 'the cake bible' for cakes of all sorts: she recommends *not* separating the eggs for waffles, which is happy-making.

From the cookbook "Living & Eating" by John Pawson and Annie Ball.

So, I had bought this cookbook a while ago during seriously good food eating time in my life. I’m semi on my way back to better eating, but I still want things to taste good. Last week I made a batch of vegan chocolate chip cookies and I have to say they were pretty darn great. No one complained after tasting them.

Side note: for those of you who don’t know…vegan recipes contain nothing derived from an animal (so no meat, eggs, or cheese.) Ok….go ahead and think I’m a freak now. I love cheese though…I don’t know if I could give that up. Haha!

It's above the fridge and just a small collection of slow cooker books for now.

I made this cookbook shelf for my wife who has several cookbooks and also loves to print recipes out online. This way, she can be a bit more organized and put her recipes in one place

I've had the "red and white" cookbook for most, or all, of my married life. As you can see, it's been well used. My mom has one that's even older, also with a melted spine. *LOL* Today I bought the new one, "pink and white", because proceeds go to the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. And I thought maybe it's time for a new one. It's got some of the old favorites, and some new stuff, like slow cooker recipes, low fat recipes, etc.

One of the photos of a series that was taken for 'Sylvia's Cookbook'; a cookbook I photographed and designed for my good friend Sylvia for her 30th birthday.

The theme was cooking at home, cooking from the heart. It contained favourite recipes belonging to my boyfriend and I.

Not only is it weighty, it looks pretty nice too.

Joking aside, this is a very nice book.
