Justina's 4th Grade Class

Cooks and Robbers Cookbook, Springfield Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, Springfield, Ohio, 2011

just a small part of my cookbook/food magazine collection. I love donna hay, can you tell?

I'm a sucker for a good cookbook with nice pictures and food that if very flavorful but not overly fussy… these all seemed to fit the bill. The mortar and pestle will come in handy for those various curry pastes.

Signed up for free sample of cookbook. Its pretty good, has alot of quick basics and all.

Now I wish I'd only have some time to cook...

The books on the left near the black filing cabinet are the ones that hit me (they also broke a few knick knacks)

This is the second page of my personalized cookbook. I'm especially proud of this page because I learned a new overlay technique which makes Sami's picture look like it was printed on the cardboard. I erased the cardboard from behind her eyes so that they would stand out more.

My tattered, dog-eared, food-stained, paper-stuffed, well-loved Student's Vegetarian Cookbook.

The Victory Binding of the American Woman's Cook Book, Wartime Edition (1942)

From abundance to diets, from prohibition to war, TWU's collection of cookbooks richly illustrates decades of America's changing relationship with food. Collection includes books, vendors' pamphlets, recipe books dating from 1624, conduct manuals, and menus from around the world.

This cookbook has a stunning cover. Unfortunately, I don't know much about the cookbook itself. The cover was loose and paired with another cookbook (a General Foods cookbook from 1931). Google tells me this cookbook is a Steero Cook Book. 101 New Dishes by Bertha M. Becker. It was published in 1927 by the American Kitchen Products Company. Google also says that there are color art deco illustrations throughout.. It sounds like a gem!

this cookbook is from 1957, How to fit 5 continents into an American kitchen.

Family Circle Illustrated Library of Cooking vol.1

Christmas pressies! I love these two. The vegetarian encyclopedia is a HUGE book and contains so much interesting information beyond recipes.

The vegan cupcake book, what else to say? Anne-Marie is coming over tomorrow to test recipes with me! Yeah!
