woke up on my birthday and thought it would be fun to play with some balloons & my camera. lucky for me i didn't have to work. :)
water, air and stone come together to create this dynamic scene. and yet it is strangely calm and solid.

Sitting at the kitchen table in one of the Edwardian houses on Beamish Museum's town street is this kitchen maid, happily warming herself by the coal fire, waiting for the oven to heat up and contemplating what baking to do today.

I realy, really, really like this shot. It's through the window of a local coffee shop (you've probably heard of it... rhymes with "far ducks").
A depressed bear sits in a state of ennui, his dissatisfaction too great to tolerate.

The image shows the crescent Moon (with a beautiful earthshine), three planets (Earth, Jupiter and Venus)…and three kids (one of them is called Miranda…another Moon): what a great conjunction!
