Well, Liz flew all the way out her for her senior pictures. I had to get a cactus in the picture, and, of course, I strobed it. Photoshopped for illustrative effect.
Don't worry, I took some "normal" pictures too...
Strobist: Starting to set sun that she is looking at. Bare sunpack camera left. Would have been great with a beauty dish but Ray forgot to take it on the hike. Double sunpaks in front of the cactus to light it on full, one pointed up and the other straight. I cloned the lightstand out. You can see the shadow on the cactus.

Wall-e ran across my rosary today and asked what it was for, and what was the meaning behind it. I tried to describe it to him the best way I could.
My good friend Gabriel took these photos of Ada and Inki, I thought some of you might appreciate them heehee!

I took a selfie along a hike I took from Maroon Lake towards Buckskin Pass. Most people stop at Crater Lake on this trail and turn around. Twice I went up further toward Buckskin Pass. Although I never made it all the way up to the pass, I did see some incredible views along the way. I wish I pushed myself further to the pass but with the altitude and the steep incline, I found myself exhausted from going as far as I did. Hopefully one day I will return and make it all the way up.
A very interesting gentleman who told me that the flag had travelled the whole globe with him. The natural light from the window was a real bonus.
This is one of the best places I know to unwind and let the cares of the day wash away, especially at sunset when the warm sunlight makes the whole thing glow and the birds sing in the trees. It's also very good when you have man-flu(as I do at the moment) for clearing the head of snot. One of these images is considerably more romantic than the other, granted.

A garden to walk in and immensity to dream in--what more could he ask? A few flowers at his feet and above him the stars.
I was going through some old photos I had taken many years ago and came across this one of David at a market. Decided to have a bit of fun with it.
