Something I have wanted for some time now, is a knitted frock and with the change of season, it was perfect timing. The instant I lifted it off the rack to take a closer look, I could see my name all over it. Funny how the little thing can make a girl happy.

Saw this man pacing on top of the unguarded roof top. I thought he was going to jump. There's been several jumpings lately, since there's no shortage of ideal jump spots in this concrete forest. Fortunately, this man is just out there to contemplate.

Having been the star of one short glorious evening, Jack now finds himself facing an uncertain future. After being discharged unceremoniously to the curb with the household refuse, rejected for employment with several pie filling companies, and not eligible for unemployment benefits, Jack now contemplates the indignity of being composted with apple cores, browned broccoli and unwanted cantaloupe rinds. Oh, why couldn't some teenager come along now and smash him to bring his misery to a quick and merciful end?
I think I anthropomorphize just a little too much sometimes, but that is one sad expression! ;)

I should have been posting images of Guillemots and Puffins today but sadly poor weather kicked in after dawn and meant my much anticipated trip to the Farne Islands was cancelled.... I managed to bag this consolataion shots from Bamburgh beach with the Farne Islands on the horizon while the sea and skies looked calm and a little more hopeful... Fingers crossed for next week.
