New to the world, only a few hours old . Grey seal pup born at Donna Nook, Lincolnshire, England. Would advise anyone who hasn't been to visit.

... and he wonders if she really wants to know what's going on in his mind.

Thanks to Mackenzie Wolf for the inspiration and for sharing the scene

Contemplating. A minimalistic seascape.

Dad, some people could learn a lot from dogs.

"How so, little wise man?"

Well, when I first meet a dog, I don't judge them for their color or where they're from or how they bark. I don't care what gender or preference they may be or that they like to do different things than me or how big or small they are or what their fur looks like or what they may be wearing. I only care about how they treat me.

"You almost never have problems with other dogs."

And even when I do, it's usually their human's fault--and I don't blame another similar dog I may meet for what the other one did to me. That's just stupid.

"Clancy, you're right, some people could learn a lot from dogs."

Juvenile Kingfisher, taken at a dull moment in Suffolk. A rather "stiff" pose, but this venue has become difficult this year, as the reeds are very tall and the slightest breeze blows them across the Bird especially on this perch.

The "Spiegel" is a german magazine. It's headquarter is located in this beautiful building in Hamburg/Germany.

This little girl was orphaned at a young age. With the help of a few of us humans she has been fed and kept safe. She is now hunting and has moved on to her own den..

Another shot from the gardens outside my window. This Grey Heron sometimes stops on rooftops during its flights, but this time it settled on the garden hedge.

Eine andere Aufnahme aus den Gärten vor meinen Fenstern. Dieser Graureiher macht auf seinen Flügen manchmal auf den Dächern Halt, doch diesmal ließ er sich auf einer Gartenhecke nieder.

Dark and luring image taken in a shed at Mother roads. Typical of me I love the lighting and the excellent meshing and texturing made the photo so appealing to me.

I'm not sure if he was contemplating about going up further to get more, or just waiting for me to disappear.

The River Thames flows through southern England. It is the longest river entirely in England and the second longest in the United Kingdom. While it is best known because its lower reaches flow through central London.

Tower Bridge (built 1886-1894) is a combined bascule and suspension bridge, over the River Thames. It is close to the Tower of London, from which it takes its name.

It has become an iconic symbol of London.

El río Támesis atraviesa el sur de Inglaterra. Es el río más largo de Inglaterra y el segundo más largo del Reino Unido. Si bien es más conocido porque sus tramos más bajos fluyen a través del centro de Londres.

Whether this is the best playground.

I think sometimes we forget to look at the ordinary, inconsequential things around us. And so we often miss the mystery and beauty to be found by contemplating the ordinary.

One of the things I love about the nature reserve I visited on Saturday is that fact that's it's usually very peaceful and quiet there. It's lovely to just sit down, admire the beauty of nature and let your mind come to rest. At this time of year the colours aren't bad either. :)

From this bench you can watch the water flow over the rock fill dam. Built to divert the water into two streams which was used to run the furnace, forges and grist mill.
