Every time I open the window, Isis it's the first to climb on the sill to watch over the ring doves in the fir. Something unusual happened, late in Autumn they had another offspring. Luckily for him, the weather was mild and he was smart enough to escape twice of the attack of the Eurasian sparrowhawk who's constantly circling our yards in search of easy prey.

K.Marinović - Contemplating

Hi friends, here is my new shot called "Contemplating"! A lot different than any of my previous photos, but as I said, I want to be as versatile as possible and try out all the different styles of photography. This one is the result of that! Edited in Photoshop CC 2014, Lightroom 5.7 and GIMP.

Have a great day, friends!

Contemplating the change of season with winter on the way. We were particularly intrigued with the short tail on the top sparrow and the down feathers on the bottom. "Yours is bigger than mine" springs to mind.

This little girl was orphaned at a young age. With the help of a few of us humans she has been fed and kept safe. She is now hunting and has moved on to her own den..

Dad, some people could learn a lot from dogs.

"How so, little wise man?"

Well, when I first meet a dog, I don't judge them for their color or where they're from or how they bark. I don't care what gender or preference they may be or that they like to do different things than me or how big or small they are or what their fur looks like or what they may be wearing. I only care about how they treat me.

"You almost never have problems with other dogs."

And even when I do, it's usually their human's fault--and I don't blame another similar dog I may meet for what the other one did to me. That's just stupid.

"Clancy, you're right, some people could learn a lot from dogs."

Juvenile Kingfisher, taken at a dull moment in Suffolk. A rather "stiff" pose, but this venue has become difficult this year, as the reeds are very tall and the slightest breeze blows them across the Bird especially on this perch.

The River Thames flows through southern England. It is the longest river entirely in England and the second longest in the United Kingdom. While it is best known because its lower reaches flow through central London.

Tower Bridge (built 1886-1894) is a combined bascule and suspension bridge, over the River Thames. It is close to the Tower of London, from which it takes its name.

It has become an iconic symbol of London.

El río Támesis atraviesa el sur de Inglaterra. Es el río más largo de Inglaterra y el segundo más largo del Reino Unido. Si bien es más conocido porque sus tramos más bajos fluyen a través del centro de Londres.

Another shot from the gardens outside my window. This Grey Heron sometimes stops on rooftops during its flights, but this time it settled on the garden hedge.

Eine andere Aufnahme aus den Gärten vor meinen Fenstern. Dieser Graureiher macht auf seinen Flügen manchmal auf den Dächern Halt, doch diesmal ließ er sich auf einer Gartenhecke nieder.

Late afternoon. Rain laden clouds cast a deep shadow over the canyon. In the gloaming, the secrets of this vast land seem to recede into a timeless memory. I imagine those who walked the land here, long before I showed up to leisurely marvel at its beauty. Spring will soon become summer, hot dry weather, and others will come to stand here and contemplate the ageless beauty. I will be elsewhere with my memories.
