So lost in contemplation that he even left his wallet on the sidewalk. In Rio.
After ascending the stairs at The Mall in downtown Cleveland, this businessman stood at the railing overlooking Lake Erie. I observed him for a while. He appeared to have the weight of the world on his shoulders. Obviously, it was a LONG day at the office.
As hard as it is for us to believe there was a time before we got together. Here are some photos of a younger Mary in those days.

Inside Crown Hill Cemetery, as you go up what turns out to be the highest hill in Indianapolis, you find the graves of some of our city’s most prominent and wealthy citizens. The markers can be elaborate, sometimes even gaudy.
This statue of a kneeling boy sits on a concrete bench marked “Home Sweet Home.” No name is given. It’s unusual for this part of the cemetery. I’ve always wondered this statue’s story.
This visitor came with his wife, son and daughter to see the falls. The teenagers continued up and over the falls. The parents waited below and missed seeing the beauty yet to come.
Ella has been really excited about going out in all the snow we have had in Norway the last couple of weeks. When I finally had time to take her out for some snow-play, she wanted to sit totally still and just watch the white, cold, heavy stuff.
Hmmm... I'm not sure that she was all that excited anymore.
That was strange! According to Xplore stats (a Flickr Add-On) the photo above got an Explore and then didn't!
At least Ingrid Eulanfan saw it and sent her congratulations! (see below).
A bit like being told you've won the lottery (well a tiny bit) and then being told it was just an admin error.
Something to think about - as is the fact that the title hasn't changed since I first posted the image!
