De Leeuwarde shuttle is ook in de Eempolder te platen - helaas dient deze aardig aan de late kant te zijn voor een juiste zonstand - als je daar niets van aantrekt (:D) krijg je dit !

HTRS 1609 komt met een goed belande Leeuwarder shuttle 50063 door de Eempolder op weg naar het Rotterdamse.

The Leeuwarder shuttle can be fotographed in the Eempolder but has to be running pretty late for the sun to be in the right position. If it is on time and you ignore this (:D) , this is the result ;)

Stacking these containers is almost an art.

This is where the old used shipping containers go when they are no longer up to standards for the shipping compainies. These are what get loaded onto ships by the various sets of cranes that stand on the harbor's edge like gigantic imperial walkers.

These Containers have been all over the world and now they are stacked up in gigantic block sculptures where they hope to be sold as storage or living quarters, or maybe even as shipping containers again. I wonder if the people who stack them are aware of their role as structural artists.
