On the right is a Bulb Flash I can't identify. It's connector and logo make me think it pre-dates the one on the left and it has a bulb adaptor allowing it to use 2 different types of bulb, unlike the other. It also has a Power Light.
A screen shot comparing my photo to a photo of a Lesser Canada Goose by David Sibley (in my photo, I moved the Canada Goose on the right closer to the Lesser Canada Goose).
Length comparisons for my dals wearing 7-8" wigs. All are stretched to fit the dal head. I am not using velcro or glue to attach onto their heads.
I originally bought the 7-8" wigs because there were a few styles only availabe in that size that I liked and I wanted for dal. I figured if they didn't fit, I could always get a BJD! (haha...yeah....)
Anyway, I wouldn't recommend 7-8" for all but for some it does work. ^^; In the end it comes down to your own preference if you're okay stretching the wig out and trying to get it fit. It doesn't fit exactly like the photos but it doesn't look bad either.
Original on the left, finished product on the right. I took three shots of this knothole, the first two much closer than this one so I wouldn't have to crop. But this one came out better.
The first two, I concentrated on setting the focus first on the near surface, and secondly on the far surface. I didn't care for the far surface focus effect, and the center light was all gone. I got a bit more even exposure in this version, then cropped it to the original scene I had in mind.
He had an amateur face up that had started to chip when I got him to face up.
He looks so much more sultry and fairy-like now!

This is comparison on different ISO.One is in 200 the other in 12800. Naturally there is a difference, but it is amazing what cameras today can do! This is 12800, 1/250 sek f.11.Nothing happens until you zoom.
Comparison of the (single coated) Nippon Kogaku Japan Nikkor-N 24mm f/2.8 with the (multicoated) Nikon Nikkor-N.C 24mm f/2.8. Both have the same optical formula, only the coating is different. HN-3 hood, no filter, Nikon D90 body.
ISO comparison between ISO 6400 and ISO 3200. I find the noise for ISO 3200 usable and improves with noise ninja, but even the ISO 6400 is pretty impressive! Definitely printable on 4x6, and I will attempt to print a A3/A4 ISO 6400 shot soon.

the bunny in the middle is from the "Cozy Cottage" set I got at Toys R Us. the other two are from eBay seller SinoDolls. the CC version has different trim on her dress, and the collar is a velveteen sort of fabric & unhemmed, where the collar on the dresses of the other two is lightweight cotton & has a turned hem. the buttons seem to be slightly diffferent between the two versions, but in rather minor ways. overall the CC version seems to have a lighter body colour & her dress is a brighter, more orangey shade of red.
Comparison of 27mm & 450mm focal lengths. 18-70mm at its widest & 75-300mm at its longest compared on a DX sensor.
Despite the hue in the pictures, Aspen's hair, compared to Faune's, is not red at all. It's... Sienna-ish?
