On the left is the original rooted headsculpt from the ACPlay Stealth Winter Soldier figure. On the right is a new rooted headsculpt on the figure. The difference is remarkable. Still futzing with the hair a bit, and I do want to get the cap on him, but I want to let the hair fully dry before doing so.
Here is a comparison of the True Type Advanced Muscular Body and the True Type Basic Regular body. As you can see the Advanced Muscular Body is considerably taller the the Regular Body and has a more massive build.
Both bodies have very good articulation but the Advanced Muscular Body has a more aesthetic look because of the rubber casing over the chest and neck.
The legs on the Regular Body are equipped with additional musculature that fit over the thighs. These are removable.

Out of all the things I've built out of Lego, I can confidently say that replicas are the most fun for me to build. I don't know what it is; there's something about recreating things out of these plastic bricks that excites me.
A comparison of the resin colors of Fairyland's "Natural" of 2012 (on the left) and Withdoll's "Normal" of 2013 (on the right).
As you can see the match is quite good. There is a slight difference, but it could easily be blushed.

Comparison of pre-apoc and post-apoc versions of my S&S/TATRA Wildland Ultra XT.

I wanted to see the difference between DNGs from my iPhone X and RAFs from my Fujifilm X100V. So I created this side-by-side with the X100V on the left and iPhone X on the right.
Comparison of three Dollzone MSD girl body:
- old type (b45-002) body on left,
- new body (b45-008) in a middle
- double jointed body (b45-005 -large bust) on right.
All Normal Pink color.
Comparison between male dolls: Equestria Girls, Monster High, Descendants, Ever After High, Liv Jake and Fashionista Ken
The first one is her spare outfit. It's an all-in-one dress. It's my favourite one, because the colour makes her eyes stand out.
The second is most of the outfit she was originally wearing. While it looks like a skirt and top, it's actually a dress.
The third is just the second outfit with her cardigan on, which she wears in the box. I felt sorry for her wearing it, because we're in the middle of a heat wave right now in UK :(

Simple comparison shot of the Sunstar diecast RM and its Revell plastic counterpart. Not a lot to choose between really in terms of quality of detail, but the difference in effort is significant!
The Revell kit is by far the more user friendly option of the two with the Sunstar being a pig to dismantle and reassemble. The kit is also considerably cheaper (depending on where you look), but I was fortunate to get the Sunstar at a very competitive rate, making it worth while doing.
But the two sit very nicely alongside each other.
Also important is just how closely these parts match Lego's colors. And I have to say, fairly well, especially for the dark azure and green. The gold, trans-orange and trans-dark blue were a little pale (but I kind of like the resulting shades), but otherwise pretty good. And of course, the quality isn't even close to Lego's but eh, you don't buy these for quality.

I tried to show a side by side comparison the same type of Barbie head on 2 different bodies. On the left is the hybrid, right is original. The one on the left is slightly taller, as newer Barbie dolls from the early 2000s on have a taller body than the vintage ones. Also, the outfit on the hybrid is loose and makes her look taller. I'll try again later with a better fitting ensemble.
