I had the pleasure of attending the opening of the Annenberg Community Beach House at Santa Monica State Park this morning. The highlight of this beautiful event on the most perfect day imaginable was a visit from a few of our friends from Cirque du Soleil, scheduled to appear here again this summer.
I was out working on an article about general stores in the region and I was struck how every store brought up how their role in their community is at the heart of who they are, I wish I could write more on this than a 700 word travel article... hmmm.... brain working and processing.

East Renfrewshire Council commissioned LUC to undertake community consultation in Waterfoot to ascertain how best to improve the quality of the environment in the village. LUC established what the priorities of the community were through 2 separate consultation events from which a list of priority projects was created.
