Today a railfan whose name is Leah MacGregor, who is a student at Copiah-Lincoln Community College and who I have met yesterday in the same spot at Exchange Club Park, got to catch the elusive local and if you look closely on the left (north) side of the track, you can see Milepost 83.

I noticed from where I sit, my view and attention to my community doesn't stray much even in a free and expressive environment such as Elkin's class. Even so, I chose this photo because it was the most interesting, and even outside of the image, 3rd period with all my friends and time to work on everything that matters to me makes up a large meaningful part of my life. I chose to decrease the brightness and make subtle changes in the amount of red and yellow to correct some graininess in the people's clothing and hair, and the different objects on the desk.
