Enjoy a community of gardeners, get gardening tips, and swap seeds. Seed swaps promote biodiversity and recycle precious resources. Package seeds to share in individual bags, and label them with the name of the flower, vegetable or herb, required growing conditions, and date of harvest. Can include unused commercial seeds in original packages no more than one year old. Non-hybridized seeds preferred. Extra seeds available. In partnership with Howard County Master Gardeners. Vicenza Military Community members gather to celebrate the Army Community Service 50th Birthday at Davis Hall July 22.
The event included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, ACS historical narration from 1965 to present, and remarks by U.S. Army Africa Commander Maj. Gen. Darryl A. Williams and USAG Vicenza Commander Col. Robert L. Menist Jr.
Refreshments of 1965-era coffee cakes and drinks concluded the event.

Over 400 volunteers from the Frostburg State University community cleaned up Frostburg on Saturday, May 3, 2014.
Photos from the Rehearsal Performance of the Ann Arbor Dance Classics Benefit Show at the Towsley Auditorium on the campus of Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, Michigan on Saturday March 16th, 2024 (for the performance on Sunday the 17th). The show was called "Bienvenue á Paris" - the 2024 Benefit Concert and Competition Showcase to benefit the Peace Neighborhood Center. The show also featured a performance from the University of Michigan First-Year Dance Company.

I had the pleasure of attending the opening of the Annenberg Community Beach House at Santa Monica State Park this morning. The highlight of this beautiful event on the most perfect day imaginable was a visit from a few of our friends from Cirque du Soleil, scheduled to appear here again this summer.
