Thanks to arealight for these amazing custom helmets. I have a copy of almost everyone he has made recently and hope to complete those figs soon. I tried a couple of times to come up with a backpack design. I ended up with this; cutting the neck off of a white TLG backpack, flipping it upside down and gluing it on. Thanks to the little arms shop for the weapons.
and the snow finally arrived to Madrid.
Happy New Year folks! I've been out of flickr for a while, enjoying vacation. Lots of pictures should come from London and NY soon.
Loved how the snow flakes got captured in the camera.

12/28/12 – Cold Winter
And it's sure been a cold, cold winter
And the wind ain't been blowin' from the south
For some of us, winter is a time that we may avoid. We may just sit inside by a warm fire, dreaming of a hot summer. Not these two gals. Robyn and her daughter, Hailey, took advantage of the shining sun on this cold, cold winter day. And to my surprise, Hailey lost her first tooth right before the photo session. We had fun, spite the cold and goofed around quite a bit. Can you guess which one of them was on the naughty list?
It sure been a hard, hard winter
My feet been draggin' 'cross the ground
And I hope it's gonna be a long, hot summer
And the light of love will be burnin' bright
The first real frost of the year - I was out in the garden before work, photographing the frost before the sun melted it!

This is the view out to our back yard yesterday, through the bathroom window (lower pane) which was covered in frost that was starting to melt as the sun came out! Brrrrr!!!

I got out this morning with my medium format camera and managed to shot three rolls of film before heading home.
