Midland Grand Hotel, Euston Road, London.
This is one of my favourite buildings and forms the front of St. Pancras Station. It is currently undergoing extension refurbishment to return it a functional hotel and apartments. I think it has been renamed St. Pancras Chambers.
You may have seen it in the Harry Potter movies, where it was incorrectly used as the frontage of Kings Cross station, which is next door.
I was on my way to a site visit. Yes, I was late as I kept stopping to take "just one more" photo 8-)

This image depicts my alarm clock in my room and was taken at a time of 4:30 am, as shown on the clock. The context of this photo is that I was up late at night because I couldn't sleep, and it captures my overall desire for more sleep in my life.
This relates to my identity because as a college student, I am usually up late doing homework or studying for exams. I also struggle with sleep issues and falling asleep, which couples my desire for more sleep with my desire to be able to fall asleep earlier in general. In addition, I chose this particular alarm clock because of its features and also its aesthetic. Because I tend to not get enough sleep (again, showing my desire for sleep) I also tend to have a hard time waking up in the morning. This alarm clock came with a device that you can put in your pillow that vibrates to wake you up if you are a deep sleeper like me who sometimes sleeps through their alarms. Aesthetically, it fits the overall grayscale color scheme of my room which is very minimalist with white furniture. Even though one of my desires is more sleep which is symbolized with this alarm clock, the specific alarm clock I chose was a result of advertisers manipulating my desire to lead me to buy the one that had extra features and went with my room.
Clear skies and frigid weather greeted Pitt Community College’s clock tower Feb. 20, as the new campus landmark was lifted into place outside the Ed and Joan Warren Building.
After the British Car Show in Downtown Safety Harbor on Saturday, October 24, 2015, I had the opportunity to photograph both the Safety Harbor Fountain and Clock. These are located at the Veterans Memorial Park at the corner of Bayshore Boulevard and Veterans Memorial Lane.
1-16-08 I'm taking some photos of the things/places I love in my house. I loved how the light was falling onto the mantel this morning so I went with it...This is my current favorite clock and I am really into clocks!

The clock tower was commissioned by the Amble War Memorial Committee. The designer was William Burton and the builders were a local firm called R Carse & Sons. The memorial was unveiled on 9 May 1925 by Major Vernon Merivale MC and initially dedicated to those who fell in World War I but later incorporated World War II as well.
