This clock tower is located next to the main building, Queen Building, at the Mile End Queen Mary University campus. It is also at the main entrance of the university, making sort of a symbolic view for the school. From the street, the clock and the main building give a picturesque view of the campus at Mile End. There is a green area that surrounds this quad along with palm trees. This quad is always busy with some students passing through, others relaxing in the green area and the traffic on the other side of the gates.

Known as the deco dancer however is listed and shown on page 32 of the book "Chiparus Master Of Deco" by Alberto Shayo. Shown in the last picture "Vedette" solid bronze and cold painted. The clock is high grade French, 8 day runs well with a mellow bell strike. Marble and alabaster. Totally deco. Provenance shows, from the estate of a very famous family in Florida.
