The clock tower of the Palace of Westminster (a.k.a. the Houses of Parliament) in London. Not Big Ben, which is the bell inside.
The medieval astronomical clock adorns the southern wall of the Old Town City Hall in the Old Town Square. It announces every hour with 12 apostles passing by the window above the astronomical dial and with symbolic sculptures moving aside. That makes it a popular tourist attraction.

Plagwitz was a small town on the outskirts of Leipzig, first named in 1483. In 1891 it became part of Leipzig. From 1854 it was transformed into a industrial area, with many factories, canals and railroad tracks. After the Wende most of the old factories were closed. Now the area is slowly redeveloping.

I used an old Canon optical image stabilizer lens [EF-S 17-85mm 1:4-5.6 IS USM] on an EOS 450D DSLR. With exposures of up to a 1/4 of a second, most of the images had to be discarded, and the remainder are very "grainy" / "noisy", but the pictures at least form a sort of record of the event...

The Wells Cathedral clock is an astronomical clock in the north transept of Wells Cathedral, England. The clock is one of the group of famous 14th to 16th century astronomical clocks to be found in the West of England. The surviving mechanism, dated to between 1386 and 1392, was replaced in the 19th century, and was eventually moved to the Science Museum in London, where it continues to operate.

Pilgrims visited Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia on 7/10/18. Around 100 community members from Charlottesville and the surrounding areas traveled to Montgomery, Alabama and The Legacy Museum to deliver soil from the Albemarle County lynching site of John Henry James.
