I made this clock using a Roland PNC2300 cnc milling machine to create the background, polyester resin and latex to make the chocolates. The moulds were made by coating some real chocolates with several layers of latex over a period of days until a useable mould was made. This clock is one of only two made.

Clock Tower square, Norzin Lam, Thimphu

Clock Tower Square has a tower with four clock faces located in Thimphu, capital of Bhutan. It is a famously known landmark in Thimphu. There are many shops, hotels and restaurants surrounding the square.

The clock tower square is located below Norzin Lam, Thimphu above the national football stadium in the heart of the capital.

The Clock-tower has a typical Bhutanese architectural outlook with rich Bhutanese carvings and paintings. There are traditional hand crafted dragon with golden painting on all the four faces of the tower which symbolizes the county as an independent dragon kingdom. The tower has beautiful paintings and carvings of flowers which add more magnificence to the tower. The shops, restaurants and hotels in the clock tower square have a blend of fine traditional and modern architectural Bhutanese design with multi-coloured wood frontages, small arched windows, and sloping roofs. The buildings around the square are all small three storied structures.

Victoria Clock - Six Sided Clock - The Victoria Tower, Salisbury Dock, by Jesse Hartley, is dated 1848. It is constructed of granite of irregular shaped blocks and takes the form of an octagon with a high tapered circular base which is pierced by round arched openings. Above the base is a string moulding and narrow slits at the first floor below a continuous balcony carried on stone brackets. Higher again are eight circular clock faces and long open slits and round eyes at the top. The tower is crowned by a projecting castellated parapet carried on corbels.

Clock bits. Thank you to Bill of Clockworks in Hartlepool for letting me photograph in his workshop.

A bit too literal, but trying to be transparent.

and,.....

I don't know exactly what this means... wait, that is being too literal. I mean I understand the subject ... no wait no I don't. I mean the tags say a 747. Out the window maybe? No... Rob wouldn't imply someting only in his eye... wait he might. I want to go the easy route and say this is about time on a clock.

Yes... that is what I will do. Oh wait... no I mean I could but maybe I shouldn't. Wait ... ummm. Damn! No I mean everything's cool. Well I mean I' m cool with this... the broader picture I mean. Well... ummm yeah .-)

A last shot before I scatter this dandelion seed head to the four winds. The last one of three, these seed heads have dried over the last 3 months (when I harvested them for the shot: flic.kr/p/c2aYb9) and are now extremerly fragile to touch and the slighest draught.

My girlfriend was given a collection of clock parts. I can't wait to get started on a steam punk project!

A small strip mall was built near me about ten years ago. The "tower" isn't much of a tower, but there is a clock that used to tell the correct time. Neither it nor the one on the sign was correct when I went past them today.

I bought this clock radio at a yard sale, but the two knobs that adjust the clock are missing. If you have a photo of this clock with the knobs intact, or know where I can get replacement knobs, let me know!

This Centennial Clock, and a lot that look very similar to this one, are a modern replica of the clocks that could be found on street corners of yesteryear. They were placed throughout the state to celebrate the Oklahoma Centennial. This clock is located in downtown Broken Arrow.

The V&A Waterfront Clock Tower is situated in the Cape Town harbour close by to the site of the original Bertie's Landing Restaurant. This red and white building is instantly recognisable by its Victorian Gothic-style architecture has always been an icon of the old docks and has become an important focal point in the Waterfront's recent urban design. Much of its charm lies in the fact that this busy commercial harbour is set in the midst of a huge entertainment venue with waterfront restaurants, specialty shops, craft markets, theatres and movies.
