Train 3372 from Trouville-Deauville to Paris-St-Lazare is scheduled to be hauled by a class BB 15000 locomotives on most days of the week (including that one), but what presented itself was a Sybic in Carmillon livery (no. 26013). The sun slowly came back again - but it was time for me to start the long drive home, so this is the last photo from the western front. Jouy-Mauvoisin, 17-09-2019.

In the late 1980s many British Rail DMUs were replaced by the Class 150 which was produced by BREL, its own trainmaking company.
Competition for this contract was provided by Metro-Cammell of Washwood Heath, Birmingham, who made a pair of Class 151s for evaluation. These were unsuccessful, but continued in BR service for a while before being withdrawn in 1989.

20142 was a deputy to work the tail of last Saturdays Bahamas Welsh Marches tour. Seemingly 47773 required some bodywork attention so was stood down.
Bahamas had drawn the special back into the station at Hereford and created a reasonable smokescreen. 20142 has just come to a rest and it was now time for me to make haste and return to the train before its late departure for Dorridge.
I must admit I do like the pseudo London Transport livery applied to the 20.
