Freightliner Class 90 electric locomotives 90015 and 90041 "Pete Waterman OBE" come to a halt on platform 4 at Stafford station working 4L67 10.20 Trafford Park Freightliner Terminal to Felixstowe North Freighliner Terminal. Despite having a flashing yellow aspect signal the train was held in the station for approximately 10 minutes before continuing its journey. Avanti West Coast Class 390 Pendolino 390001 can be seen on platform 3 with 1H65 10.33 London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly.
Network Rail 153379 sits in Bedford Engineers Siding overnight seen in the early hours of 31 July 2026.
Moved to US 4 years and I worked my ass off for all these medal, gold tassel and gold cowl as a 3.5 or > GPA. I'm happy. :)

Here is my version of the GWR Class 1366. I did previously tease this with the pannier photo. I wanted larger tanks on the main pannier to have the 1366 tanks to be smaller, to more appropriate size. I am unhappy with the valve gear and rods, also this just seems so bare and missing something. I just can't put my finger on it.

A reworking of an earlier post. Our RT&P group made the 800km journey overnight by train from Xian southeast to Wuhan on the Yangse River.
On arrival at Hankou we took the minibus from the city to Wuhan Steelworks for a short visit. I would have liked to have got closer to the blast furnaces, coke ovens, rolling mills etc, but the authorities seemed loathe to allow more than the odd hour or two to explore the extensive railway system. However what we did see was worthwhile and we managed to record all the classes that were in use there – the YJ class 2-6-2s, SY 2-8-2s and XK class 0-6-0Ts, a total of 14 engines.

I had a good freind who was the foreman here when it was home to some class 56s. He let me wander around one day. Pity I didn't chose a nice sunny one!!

This was the second part of a move from Polmadie to Wembley, with the Polmadie to Carlisle leg happening the night before.
