British Rail Class 20, otherwise known as an English Electric Type 1, No. 20189 at Grosmont station of the North Yorkshire Moors heritage railway on 26th September 2021. A total of 228 locomotives in the class were built by English Electric between 1957 and 1968.

InterCity livery 43175 leads a Great Western Trains service past Erlestoke on 18/10/96. Note the 4th coach is an extra 1st class.
60017 heads 6Z39 Chaddesden - Willesden into Leicester on 2nd March 2020. The loco has been hired in to DCRail due to problems with their own fleet. I was forced slightly wider for the shot than I would have liked due to shadows near the road bridge.

Moved to US 4 years and I worked my ass off for all these medal, gold tassel and gold cowl as a 3.5 or > GPA. I'm happy. :)

Against the backdrop of a quite remarkable sunset on Thursday 21st September, Great Western Class 255 ‘2+4’ short-formed 'Castle Class' HST set 43098 'Walton Castle (with 43156 'Maen Castle' powering at the rear), rolls into Taunton, the 1G77 15:50 Penzance to Bristol Temple Meads service. This was the only class one timetabled diagram over this route on this day entrusted to a HST, once the mainstay of services on the GW main line.

The Stour Valley and the BCN run pretty much arrow straight, within a few feet of each other for the section between Tipton and Albion. Here, a Cross country Voyager approaches Watery Lane (Tipton) with 1M45 1050 Paignton to Manchester Piccadilly.

Here is my version of the GWR Class 1366. I did previously tease this with the pannier photo. I wanted larger tanks on the main pannier to have the 1366 tanks to be smaller, to more appropriate size. I am unhappy with the valve gear and rods, also this just seems so bare and missing something. I just can't put my finger on it.

Here, GB Railfreight Class 66/7 No. 66783 "The Flying Dustman" is sandwiched by Class 37/7 No. 37716 and Class 56 No. 56105.

2014.09.12 Kiddeminster , UK. In a short visit to Kiddeminster I had the chance to see the Class 52 ''Westerner". For me it was a great site , as not many survived the cut-up as I understood. Compared to the 060-DA Sulzer's at home , it was something totally different.
