River Lodge Motel, 1955 Theatre Drive, Paso Robles, California. The River Lodge Motel near the Highway 101 interchange with Highway 46 West was built around 1947 as the Suburban Lodge; it was part of a larger development that included a drive-in theater, gas station and restaurant. The motel was recently sold and is up for redevelopment.
Few shoots from my site visit last week, chevron parquet going down and angles matching perfect, Alex our valued fitter doing a great job. The subfloor levelled and skirting boards trimmed to slide chevron parquet under, this will help us to achieve perfect and neat finish around the edges.

HST Chevron quilt. Finished last week. Riley Blake grey ombre dots for the backing and simply color layer cake with a solid to make the quilt top.
A CAS using one of the challenge sketches.
I inked up the Flower Dot Pattern with white ink and stamped it on the chevrons to add a subtle pattern.
