this cowl was so much fun! i cast on 120 sts on a size US 6 (4 mm) 16" circular needle (later changed to 24" needle), and worked the pattern as specified for the chevron scarf in last-minute knitted gifts. i used the leftovers from my chevron scarf, socks that rock mediumweight in watermelon tourmaline and farmhouse.
