Pattern: Chevron Love Hat
Yarns: Various scraps, mostly Peace Fleece and handspun, including a soft and warm handspun angora liner.
Verdict: I cast on fewer stitches than the pattern called for because I used worsted instead of DK. There are issues with the second chart and the decreases, which is why I didn't finish this hat sooner (I started it this spring but got so freaking frustrated with it). I fudged it up the best I could, and am pleased overall. This is one warm little hat.

Chevron scarf in STR's Watermelon Tourmaline and Farmhouse. Yeah, I'm going along with the crowd but am so pleased with the color combinations. I'm also using Brittany birch needles size 5.
Chevron Cars Ltd. is an English manufacturer of racing cars, founded by Derek Bennett in 1965. Chevron was particularly noted for its small-capacity sports cars and its Formula Two, Formula Three and Formula 5000 single seaters.
What can I say, I just love the boldness. elegance and sense of the classic in this print, so I made my gal this dress. Of course I made a few more for our friends =)

The middle section closer. All done in chevron stitch apart from a line of backstitch around the inner curve of the darker blue section. I used two strands of DMC variegated cotton thread.
