Chevron Cars Limited debuted at the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power (on 14-16 June) with Jordan Witt, in the Chevron GT3, finishing fastest overall in Sunday’s ‘Sports Racing Cars’ time trials.
In front of a three-day crowd, local driver Jordan Witt set impressive lap times on the 1.2 mile course in the Chevron GT3. The British marque was competing against a host of other celebrated manufacturers, and succeeded in claiming the top spot in class on Sunday, by putting in a time of 60.71 seconds on the last lap during the second day of competitive timed runs (the Friday having consisted of two practice sessions).

CHEVRON B 60TS 1982. Châssis N° B-301
Il s'agit de la première des 2 Chevrons B60 TS construite par Chevron à l'époque ou la marque avait été rachetée par Robin SMITH. Elle a été construite pour participer au championnat Thundersport nouvellement créé.
La voiture a été construite autour d'une coque de B60 sur laquelle seront greffés ds trains avant et arrière de F2. Le moteur d'origine était un Hart 420 R accolé à une boite Hewland FT 200. Coté habillage, Robin a choisi de la doter d'une carrosserie de B36.
