Sodexo and Celebrity Chef Tim Love have teamed up to create a truly delicious experience at Texas Christian University aka TCU. Love has earned critical and popular acclaim in both the Dallas/Fort Worth region and nationally for his signature urban western cuisine. Under this partnership, students and the TCU community will have access to Chef Love’s signature dishes through The Big Purple Truck on campus, while fans will also enjoy things like Chef Love’s famous Woodshed beef ribs, Mexican corn on the cob, a burger he created specifically for TCU and a showcase sausage of the day in suites and general concession areas throughout TCU venues.

The site of the former Cromwell Little Chef in 2015, positioned to the left of the BP filling station.
The Little Chef first opened between 1968 and 1972 in a small, white, rectangular building, typical of Little Chef's house style of the time. It was the, slightly newer, partner of the North Muskham branch, which is located on the southbound side of the A1 but is now closed.
According to the BBC Domesday report of 1986 the restaurant served on average 400 customers a day although this could rise to 800 in the summer months. A sample from the Children's menu of the time is shown below:

More than $115,000 in net proceeds was raised last night at the 26th annual Chefs’ Feast for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma’s Food for Kids program. Thanks to the support from area restaurants and the community, 575 chronically hungry students will now have access to food over the weekends and school holidays.

Chef Gentile revealed some tasty tidbits about a new Buca bar opening up close to his current hot spot (maybe for hanging out it, but the food has always been spot on and a fave). This will be great news in the event that I can't get a reservation at Buca (it's hard enough as it is). :) Cravings can be satisfied afterall!

Chef Steven Doherty began as an apprentice at the Savoy in London. He later moved to Le Gavroche as Commis Chef working up to the role of Chef de Partie. He then worked as Sous Chef for Albert Roux’s.
Le Gavroche. He gained three Michelin stars making him the first ever British head chef at a three Michelin-starred establishment. He now consults with the Lakeland chain helping with their café menus.
