An old boundary post (cast iron, I assume) with a hole through which a chain could pass. Layers of paint have flaked away, showing the changing colour schemes of years past.
My first chain bracelet. I didn't have the right wire to do this properly, but I like the way it turned out anyway. I just got the right wire, so I will be remaking this one. This design is from the book Creative Chains.

We saw this little guy on Bari Reef in Bonaire. I've seen a lot of eels - but this one was unique. I found it - and pointed it out to Kelly.....she saw it and was like 'Whoa!.... I dunno...' (waving underwater and shrugging) We had to go to the 'Fish Brochure' identification books to find out what we had seen......
Above water with a book - it is a Chain Moray Eel....the yellow and black coloring is impressive at depth - it stands out.
