I asked for this doodad. The builder couldn't get a Columbine chain watcher in steel, so I asked him to cobble something together; I wasn't fussy with how it looked. I think it works much better than a chain hanger on the seatstay.

I have a picture just like this elsewhere in my photostream. The other day I mentioned being obsessed with doors and gas meters as photo subjects - I'm also obsessed with hanging lengths of chain. I hope that doesn't make me sound creepy.
Another deconstructed roller chain link ring, this time with a wrought iron shank. A bit chunkier than the first, but feels nice on. My studiomate also suggested that this would be a good ring to wear in a fist fight...not that we could around looking for fights :)

Further, the initiative will strengthen Ontario’s supply chain resiliency and better prepare the province for potential future emergencies.

We have rain, rain and rain, today!! However, jumped out into the garden as this was the only chain that I could come up with!! There are some of our hanging baskets that are new with no rusty chain but they are further down the garden .... it's raining!!
