Another satisfying Flickrwalk is in the books: Camera Ed, Fire Monkey Fish, and Dan90266 met up for lunch at Clifton’s, a gotta-be-seen-to-be-believed cafetaria in downtown L.A. Joining us was my camera-phobic friend David (who later confessed that while he enjoyed himself, he sure did think the rest of us looked odd photographing each other as often as we photographed other people or things). Anyway, we walked up busy Broadway and then paused for a visit to the extraordinary Bradbury Building, where much of the film Bladerunner was filmed in 1982. From there, we meandered down Spring Street, L.A.’s former financial district.
I asked for this doodad. The builder couldn't get a Columbine chain watcher in steel, so I asked him to cobble something together; I wasn't fussy with how it looked. I think it works much better than a chain hanger on the seatstay.
