Metal chains covering a garage door in Louisville, Kentucky. Not sure what they're for. To prevent break-ins, maybe? Regardless, I am impressed that someone took the trouble to paint the chain the same color as the door.

The April bulldog meetup was a fundraising event held at 8 Chains North Winery and benefitting River City Bulldog Rescue.
The Chesterfield, UK, launch of the 2006 Operation Christmas Child campaign, at the Town Hall, Rose Hill. The Mayor of Chesterfield (Cllr Trudi Mulcaster) celebrated her 75th birthday on this day, so 75 children from St. Mary's Primary School and Brampton Primary School brought 75 shoe box gifts for the Mayor to receive on behalf of Operation Christmas Child. The children sung Happy Birthday and presented the Mayor with a surprise Birthday Cake, which was rapidly consumed in the council chamber.

A simple pic with 3 of 5 elements in chinese metaphysical studies present, namely metal chain, wood and earth (blurred leaves on ground).
The sharp edges and squarish nature of the wood is contrasted with the smoother shape of the chain.

-I used a 50 mm lens with a 1.8 f to get only some of the chain in focus, than in lightroom I made the photo black and white, than added texture to it.

-I like all the texture the photo has and how the black and white enhances that.
