Viajeros del Metro de se quitaron este domingo los pantalones y se han quedado en ropa interior en los vagones del suburbano para participar en el evento organizado por el movimiento 'Día sin pantalones en el Metro’. Dicho evento tuvo distintos puntos de reunión en algunas de las estaciones con mayor trafico de todas las lineas del metro. El cual finalizo con la llegada de todos los participantes a la alameda central.

I made calzone's tonight. Actually, I think they're considered stromboli, since I added the sauce to the inside instead of having it on the side. They were super yummy, but I used the Pillsbury pizza crust which is a little sweeter than I like my crust. Next time, I'll have to make my own or the get the pre-made dough from Trader Joe's.
These have italian sausage, zucchini, mushrooms, parmesan cheese, and sauce. I'm not really a big fan of tomato sauce, so I added some sour cream to tone down the tomato flavor.

Oh man, I feel hungry just looking at this. I use my yeast pizza dough recipe to make calzones. The batch made four, perfect for two suppers.
I made this calzone on April 28, 2013, out of 9-grain bread with Italian sausage, goat cheese, and olive oil.

Everyone knows the traditional Neapolitan calzone filled with ricotta cheese,mozzarella, pepper, salami and ham( and NOTHING else), but few know the calzone stuffed with escarole sautéed with capers, black olives, salted anchovies and smoked provola cheese that has a history much older! a pizza that was made in the days of Lent and on Friday when Christians Catholics can not eat meat.
Few pizzerias that still offer it because many customers do not like too many vegetables on the pizza!
like other pizzas of this pizzeria the calzone is abundantly out of the dish and easily exceeds half a kilo of weight.

On Monday, Carl and I ate lunch in Lake Jackson at All-Star Pizza. We had the delicious buffet of pizza, calzones, and cookies. Afterwards we drove to Brazos Bend State Park where we saw some wildlife exhibits and saw some wildlife: butterflies, a deer, a snake, baby alligators, some birds, and a baby coyote?
Then we drove to the museum district of Houston. At the Houston Museum of Natural Science, we toured two exhibits: Terra Cotta Warriors and the Spirits & Headhunters: Vanishing Worlds of the Amazon. We also saw the skeletons of some dinosaurs and exhibits of animals from Africa.
We had planned to go to the Houston Zoo since it was open free to the public on Columbus Day, but they wouldn't let us inside since it was less than an hour before closing time. Instead we found Hermann Park with a pond, some ducks, some coy, a turtle, and some statues. It was a nice find at the end of the day.
We drove back to Lake Jackson and ate a most delicious steak at Salt Grass Steak House before returning to Carl's house for me to pack up and leave early the next morning.
My sister made a huge calzone last week. It was really a perfect idea because neither of us had any time to cook, but there were things in the fridge that really needed to go.
