Today I was investigating the recent cake thievery and as always the Hercule Poirot technique of sitting down on a comfy pillow and drinking a hot chocolate was successful. Suddenly I noticed a cake crumb in the corner! I quickly finished my chocolate and hopped to investigate.
I followed the trail of cake crumbs and guess what I found! Little Pip and Little Henry
secretly eating my cake!
I couldn’t quite believe it and closed my eyes. When I opened them again the two rascals had fled the scene... unbelievable, at least they left the cake behind :-)
This cake was made for a girl turning 10 who loves Smiggle stationery. She loves the pink, purple and aqua stationery. Vanilla buttercake with vanilla buttercream and fondant decorations. All edible.
I made this delicious and organic cake for N & P's baby shower. The one from Jan 4th was a trial run and I think I got better at it! wp.me/pJTRQ-3
This cake was very, very random. I made it for a husband and wife's shared 50th. There's lots of different things on there that relate to them and that they love. The top tier is the mums things. The bottom is the dads. There's a couple of jokes on here as well. All decorations made with fondant.

Funnel cake or funnelcake is a regional food popular in the U.S. at carnivals, fairs, sporting events, and seaside resorts. Funnel cakes are made by pouring batter through a funnel into hot cooking oil in a circular pattern and deep frying the overlapping mass until golden-brown. When made at concession stands a pitcher with an integral funnel spout is employed. Funnel cakes are typically served with powdered sugar, jam, Nutella, fresh fruit, or other toppings.
Looks better enlarged.
My nieces confirmation cake - she didn't want it completely white - blue & green are her favorite colors, didn't want it too girlie, didn't want flowers,LOL the list of don't was long, the list of I want was none, LOL
But I think she liked :)
I used fondant circles and made the green beads around the bottom - which is why they aren't necessarily even, LOL
